I realize this tote was crafted for a different purpose, but this bag lady uses it for EVERYTHING! Literally everything, my purse, my lunch, my laptop and my work-out clothes fit. It makes carrying all those things into the office easy. While the Chilao Log Tote is undoubtedly an investment piece, its quality and timeless design make it a worthwhile addition to any fashion-forward individual's collection. The material used to construct the tote is probably my favorite part. As the daughter of a veteran, it gives me some sort of feeling of history and awareness of all our servicemen and women, while totally being chic. The hardware on this bag is not just for show, but for durability and security. I can't wait to add another piece of this collection to my closet.
I purchased two items, the buckhorn apron in the rust color and the newcomb log tote. I chose these items as gifts since I had personally seen them at a craft fair where they were on display. The history behind the materials used really intrigued me as well as the quality. The fact that they items are made in the USA with repurposed deadstock materials and 1940's repurposed military d-rings just makes the products more special & unique.
